Reconnect With Your Womb through Painting
In Person Workshop
Explore the power of your womb and express yourself authentically.
‘When I was tuning into my womb I realised for the first time that she’s childlike and playful, but also carries an ancient wisdom within her.’
-Dionne on Reconnect With Your Womb Through Painting.
“I had the opportunity to feel my body in a different way without judgment. I also loved when we discovered some intense emotion in the throat that began to clear and brought so much wisdom.
It was a beautiful experience and you made me feel safe enough to slow down and be vulnerable.”
-Diamant on Reconnect With Your Womb Through Painting.
What’s Reconnect With Your Womb Through Painting?
As a woman living in a fast paced world, it can be easy to forget that you’re a sensual, creative being.
These womb painting workshops are where you can stop, breath, embrace your power.
Art is a beautiful and effective way to express your feelings. I’ve found that the womb brings out personal and fascinating artwork regardless of art experience or skill level, but more than that, it’s more about art’s soothing effects.
It’s not just felt experience. A 2024 clinical study found that women who made art once a week for 8 weeks saw significant reductions in PMS symptoms like bloating and exhaustion, regardless of artistic background.
You don’t need painting experience. This isn’t about producing something beautiful. It’s about producing something honest.
These workshops are for you, especially if you are interested in:
- connecting to your womb’s truth
- painting to express what’s within, not necessarily a technically precise outcome
- having a piece of your own art at home to reflect on and have conversations about
- or if you’re curious and feel called to the workshop.
What’s Included?
- Herbal tea or cacao to help you ground in your body.
- Soothing meditation to drop into the moment, and let go of expectations.
- Unstructured painting time to let your womb speak in colour and image.
- You’ll also be able to take your painting home to remind yourself of your womb connection.
Location
These are 3+ hour workshops, currently being run at:
Pheonix Arts Center, Woking
Mother Studios, Lewisham
Newhouse Art Space, Guildford
& Online.
These sessions developed organically from my own painting process.
Years ago I committed to painting until I felt a full body yes to what I was seeing on the canvas.
It turned out, in following the feeling until the very end created the most interesting work.
Wombs kept emerging and this created healing in my body. If you’d like the full story and a soothing at-home process, check out The Womb Art Ritual eBook.
I then wondered if this kind of painting works for others and I was delighted to find that it did.
Why do we need to feel shame around our womb? It’s the most powerful organ in the body.
However this conditioning shows up for you, I welcome you to bring that to our group session to express on the canvas.
‘I love to paint but I often find it hard to start start a piece. Being in a calm relaxed environment and gentle guidance from Theodora took away the pressure of having a concept and to go with what feels natural.
I ended up with a very beautiful piece.

No Art Experience Required
There is an inner artist in everyone waiting to be unleashed. This space is about you expressing your emotions through art, so there’s no need for any experience or qualifications.
‘During the workshop a feeling of peace came when you encouraged us to be how we are and the meditation grounded me further, and my mind calmed down as I felt more into my body.
At the end of the workshop I felt really inspired and a wave of connection I really needed, to myself and the other kindred spirits- I left feeling a lot lighter, clearer in my mind and settled in my body.
I know that kind of shift is positive and I’m grateful for the opportunity to love and heal deeper through creativity and communing with women. Thankyou so much again’
